You’ll support guests with their food parcels, offer refreshments and share a listening ear.
As a Welcome Centre Volunteer, you will play an important hands-on role in creating a warm and respectful environment for people visiting the food bank. You’ll support guests with their food parcels, offer refreshments, share a listening ear, and - when appropriate - signpost guests to further sources of support. Working as part of a team and under the guidance of the Centre Lead, you will help ensure East Greenwich Welcome Centre runs smoothly and compassionately, offering practical help and kindness to individuals and families facing crisis.
