Detailed Description

We are a vibrant local watersports charity in Greenwich/Deptford seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to support our accounting and record-keeping activities. Key Responsibilities: - Review organisational accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness - Monitor invoices, ensuring they are processed and paid on time - Maintain clear, organised financial records - Convert paper-based records into digital formats - Help streamline and automate administrative and accounting processes Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and Ahoy’s accounting team to ensure robust financial practices and accurate record management This role is ideal for someone looking to contribute their organisational and financial skills to a meaningful community organisation.

Time Commitment

We offer flexible volunteering options to suit your availability. Our core hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, and you can choose either: Half‑day sessions Morning: 9:00am – 1:00pm Afternoon: 1:00pm – 5:00pm Full‑day sessions 9:00am – 5:00pm Whether you can join us for a few hours or a full day, your time makes a meaningful difference — and we’ll work with you to find a schedule that fits around your commitments.
